Founded in 1965, the FSN started its activities in Ipiranga, São Paulo state, manufacturing diamond Wheels in order to make and sharp hard metal tools, glass diamond drills, polishing paste and liquid and other tools with diamond application.

Soon its line of products expanded, and in 1970 the FSN started manufacturing diamond Core Bits intended to the process of extracting samples for geological analysis. Also, we produced diamond saws for cutting stony material, like marble, granite, concrete, asphalt etc.

In 1973, the FSN has started building a modern industrial complex in Indaiatuba, São Paulo state (a 17.800m2 area, near Viracopos International Airport). This new complex was built in order to improve its products’ quality and expand the synthetic diamond utilities in tools for all kinds of applications. The investment was justified by a recent agreement reached with European companies and the new company target: reach other markets, specially the North American.

Around 1980 we started producing CBN (cubic boron nitride) Wheels used for hard steel rectification in resinous alloys.

Nowadays the FSN works in several sectors, divided in Mechanic Metal, Building and Mining.

The Mechanic Metal line of products contains the Diamond and CBN Wheels, diamond tools for Wheel dressing, PCD and PCB tools for aluminum and nonferrous materials machining, glass Wheels, etc.

The FSN Building sector attends the commerce and the wholesale, offering diamond disks for Marble saw machining, 350mm saw for Granite, concrete, asphalt and other materials cutting. It is in our catalogue some other kinds of machinery for this market. Floor cutting and flatting machines, marble saw for small diameter disks, 110 mm, drilling machine and its pillar, and many other products.

In the Mining sector, the FSN is well known for manufacturing natural and synthetic diamond drills for the extraction of samples for geological analysis.
